Mark R. Chaffin

    Mark R. Chaffin, 62, of Circleville, died on May 25, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital as a result of stroke complications. He was born on April 2, 1959, in Circleville, the son of the late Orvil Chaffin and June (Gaines) Chaffin Truman, who survives.

    He is also survived by his son, Graham (RyAnn); grandsons, Joe and Bodhi, of South Carolina; stepfather, Paul Truman; brothers, Terry (Nancy), of Chillicothe, and Tom (Denise), of Circleville.

    In addition to his father, Mark was predeceased by his brother, Mike.

    Mark was a 1977 graduate of Zane Trace High School. He enjoyed playing guitar, collecting Indian artifacts, and collecting, as well as, making walking sticks.

    Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Salem Church Cemetery in Meade with Pastor Carol Carper officiating. Services have been entrusted to the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. Condolences can be made on Mark’s online guest registry at www.hillfhkingston.com.
