PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — State Senator Bob Peterson (R-Washington Court House) is applauding the creation of 500 new jobs at Bath and Body Works in Pickaway County, resulting in over $18 million in new payroll utilizing the state’s Job Creation Tax Credit (JCTC) program.
“As lawmakers, setting conditions for the creation of new jobs and incentivizing businesses to continue building upon their investments in our community is the top priority,” said Peterson. “Pickaway County is home to some of our state’s best and brightest workers, and this is an excellent opportunity to get more people in our community back to work.”
Under the Ohio Revised Code, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority is authorized to enter into JCTC agreements with employers to foster job creation and capital investment in the state. JobsOhio works in partnership with the Development Services Agency and other state and local agencies to support economic development across the state.
