CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Two firefighters have been hurt while battling a house fire in Circleville, and officials have issued a plea to city residents.
Firefighters responded just after 3 p.m. on Monday to the area of East Union and Clinton Streets. While inside, one firefighter went down and was injured. A second one is hurt, as well. Their conditions are unknown.
Residents in Circleville are being asked to conserve their water use as firefighters work on combating the fire, the city said.
Police have the intersection shutdown at this hour.
No word on any injuries to the homeowners or how the fire may have started.
