JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio — US 35 was closed for a short time today due to a two vehicle crash. EMS was dispatched to a accident with injuries on US 35, around 12:00 p.m.
EMS on scene reported that the occupants of one of the vehicles were trapped inside. Fire and Rescue on scene was able to successfully extricate those individuals. Reports state that a infant child was also involved.
EMS confirmed that three people were transported to Holzer Medical Center, in Jackson. The names and the extent of injuries was not immediately released.
The crash remains under investigation.
