Roselynn Faith Flanery, 6 months old, of Waverly, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
She was born November 22, 2020 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Amber Cornwell and Elijah Flanery.
Roselynn was preceded in death by her aunt, Heather Starkey, uncle, Cody Cornwell, and uncle, Brian Starkey, Jr.
She is survived by her parents, Amber Cornwell and Elijah Flanery, aunts, Madison Cornwell, Olivia Cornwell and Shelly Starkey, uncles, Matt Starkey, William Cornwell, Alex Cornwell and David Cornwell, grandparents, Dale and Susan Cornwell, Brian and Dianna Starkey, and Rosetta Houchin.
Roselynn was a fighter from day one, being born at only 15 ounces. She wasn’t expected to survive at all, but yet she jumped every hurdle with resilience. She was a true miracle from God. Roselynn loved to be cuddled by her Mommy, Daddy, and Gammy. She loved snuggling with her little lamb blanket and her elephant blanket that her Daddy gave her.
Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2021, at Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly with Brian Starkey officiating. Burial will follow in Hay Hollow Cemetery, Chillicothe, Ohio. Family will receive friends 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 18, 2021 at Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly, Ohio.
