HORST JUDKINS, age 61, of Columbus, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 1:32 a.m. at Grant Medical Center.
He was born on June 20, 1960 in Dreux, France at the United States Air Force Hospital to Staff Sergeant Billie Payne and Ursula Gertrude (Kupfer) Judkins. He obtained his GED and joined the United States Air Force at a young age. Horst grew-up in Houston, Texas and worked as a painter for most of his adult life. Horst was extremely talented and had a natural gift for playing musical instruments. He had dreams of becoming a Herpetologist-a zoologist who studies reptiles.
Horst was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Werner Judkins.
Survivors include his children, Kathrina, Christin, Rebecca, William, and Amanda Judkins; numerous grandchildren; and siblings, Germain Judkins of Dublin, Ohio and Guenther Judkins of Houston, Texas. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
