JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio — The City of Jackson announced temporary closures that will go into effect July 3. According to city officials, the following streets and areas will be closed Saturday for the city’s firework display:
- Eddie Jones Park on Harding Avenue
- The Jackson City Bike Path and Dog Park
- The bridge on Harding Avenue to Water Street will be closed at 6:30 p.m.
- Veterans Drive, from Harding Avenue to Carr Street from 6:30 p.m. until after the fireworks display ends.
In a online statement, the city said, “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.”
The Jackson fireworks are scheduled to kick off around 10 p.m. Saturday evening.
