Barbara (Roush) Storer, age 81, of Greenfield, Ohio, formerly of Lynchburg and Hillsboro passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at home.
She was born May 31, 1940, in Hillsboro, Ohio, the daughter of Marcus C. and Georgianna (Wilkin) Roush. At that particular time, she was the smallest surviving baby born at Hillsboro Hospital.
Barbara was a 1958 graduate of Lynchburg Clay High School and formerly attended the Allensburg Church of Christ.
She retired from Huthamki Corporation in 2001 after 24 years of employment. She then worked for Easter Assembly in Lynchburg for seven and half years, followed by two and half years as a home caregiver for Best Choice.
She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Fields of Greenfield, Lori Jacobs of Batavia; five grandchildren, Nicole Hamilton, Eric (Autumn) Parker, Alicia Mullenix, Keith (Miranda) Fields, Joshua Jacobs; thirteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Janet Hupp of Piketon; one niece, Kimberly (Philip) Day; one nephew, Dennis Graves; and several friends and cousins.
She was preceded in death by one son in-law, Brian Fields; one brother-in-law, Daniel Hupp; special friend, Earl Gulley; father, Marcus C. Roush; and mother, Georgianna Holderby.
Funeral service will be 6:00 P.M. Friday, July 2 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Todd Ernst officiating. Cremation will take place and burial of cremains will be in Hamer Township Cemetery of Dodsonville at a later date.
Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Friday, at the funeral home.
