ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A water rescue was underway in Ross County Saturday night.
Deputies, along with EMS responded to Water’s Edge Canoe on route 772 around 8 p.m.
According to officials, two kayakers were reported missing in the area of Alum Cliff Road.
Deputies on the scene said that the missing kayakers were possibly stranded on a sand bar in the middle of Paint Creek.
This incident is the second water rescue in that general vicinity in the last two weeks.
After about an hour of searching, the two kayakers were found unharmed. Their names were not released.
