Nellie Mae Park, 92 of Chillicothe passed from this life on Thursday, July 15, 2021, in Adena Greenfield Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born April 1, 1929, in Circleville, Ohio, the daughter of Charles Ebba and Sena (Smith) Wagner. On March 21, 1946, she married Everett E. Park who preceded her in death in 1987.
Surviving is her son, Robert (Kitty) Park, Chillicothe; her grandchildren, Bobbie Lynn (Rusty) Penwell, Justin (Angie) Park and Brandon (Aprille) Park; her great-grandchildren, Lynlii Mae Park and Asher Everett Park; her “special grandchild”, Rebecca Shepherd; and her special friend, Joyce Haddox. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Joe Park, her grandson, James Wellington, and brothers, Mark, and Charles Wagner.
Mrs. Park was a homemaker. She was a Life member of VFW Post 108, Amvets 4, American Legion Post 62 and Eagles Aerie 600.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, in the FAWCETT OLIVER GLASS AND PALMER FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Mark Pfeiffer officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home form 11:00 am until the hour of service on Tuesday.
