Ruthann Triplett, age 78, of Greenfield, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Edgewood Manor of Greenfield.
She was born July 14, 1943 in Connellsville, PA, the daughter of John Oscar and Ruth Ann (Blacka) Welling.
Ruthann was the “Queen of fried chicken” at Detty’s Market in Greenfield where she managed the deli for many years and a Girl Scout Troop leader for over 25 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Sahara Ann “Terri” Williams of Chesapeake, Amy Lynn Stumbo of Columbus; one son, Craig Steven Triplett of Columbus; four grandsons, Joseph Williams (Jen Truman) of Chesapeake, Stephen Williams (Lanie Lowe) of Greenfield, Sean Stumbo of Columbus, Joshua Triplett of Columbus; one granddaughter, Hannah Triplett of Columbus; one great granddaughter, Cori’lynn; two brothers, Jack (Diane) Welling of Wooster and Tom (Jean) Welling of Pennsylvania.
She is preceded in death by her grandson, Corey Williams; son in-law, Timothy Williams; and both parents.
Funeral service will be 12:00 P.M. Thursday, August 5 at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Mark Current officiating. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. Thursday, at the funeral home.
