CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Chillicothe has been named one of the best cities to live, work, and visit according to Ohio Magazine. 

The Best Hometowns issue that will be released in November lists Chillicothe, Centerville, Delaware, Sandusky, and Wadsworth the 5 best hometowns in the state.

According to the editor, Chillicothe was recognized for the “historic and beautiful downtown area, and the city’s strong sense of community.”  

Ohio Magazine said this year’s honorees will be featured in the November/December 2021, and July/August 2022 issues of the magazine. 

The Chillicothe/ Ross Chamber of Commerce said the city will also be featured online at ohiomagazine.com. 

“This is exciting and an honor for Chillicothe to be recognized as a ‘Best Hometown’ by Ohio Magazine,” said Melody Young, Executive Director of the Ross-Chillicothe Convention and Visitors Bureau. “As a community, we can embrace this recognition and cherish this achievement together.”
