Connie Blackburn Pruitt, 61, of Pickerington, died 4:30 a.m. Monday, August 23, 2021 at St. Ann’s Hospital, Columbus following an extended illness.
She was born February 14, 1960, in Dayton, KY, to Robert and Mary Wells Walters. On June 26, 2003, Connie married Ronald Pruitt who died December 22, 2016.
Surviving are her father, Robert Walters, of Piketon; a daughter, Tamarra R. (Richard) Chambers, of Reynoldsburg, OH; grandchildren, Anthony, Andrea and Ariana Chambers; a brother, George (Gladys) Walters; sisters, Teresa Tackett, Sandra (Danny) Curtis and Peggy Harper; several nieces and nephews; and best friend, Janet Dean. She was predeceased by her mother, Mary Walters.
Connie was the former owner of the former Southeastern Business College.
A private funeral service will be held in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Wayne Conley officiating.
