Mary Sue Siniff, age 83, of Hillsboro, Ohio, formerly of Highland, passed away peacefully on Saturday August 21, 2021, at her home with her family by her side. She was born on May 8, 1938, in Portsmouth, Ohio, the daughter of the late Lewis and Helen (Miller) Haynes. Mary Sue was a 1956 Greenfield McClain High School graduate, and she was a member of the Highland United Methodist Church. After high school, she married the love of her life, Gene. She retired from Irwin Auger Bit Company in Wilmington, Ohio. She often enjoyed exercising, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Mary Sue is survived by her husband, Clinton “Gene” Siniff, whom she married on September 16, 1956; two sons, Howard “Wayne” Siniff of Washington, C. H., Ohio, and William “Keith” Siniff of Dunedin, Florida; two grandchildren, Aaron (Sarah) Siniff of Fairborn, Ohio, and Ashley (TJ) Huelsman of Centerville, Ohio; two great grandchildren, Audrey and Grant Huelsman; two brothers, Chip Haynes of Clearwater, Florida, and Philip (Maria) Haynes of Columbia, Tennessee; a cousin, Shirley (Gary) Conway of Chillicothe, Ohio and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her daughter-in-law, Sheri Siniff; sister-in-law, JoAnn Haynes; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dorothy and Howard Winters; grandparents, William “Bill” Miller and Sue “Suzie” Miller. The Siniff family asks everyone to please wear a face covering while indoors during the visitation and funeral service. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday August 26, 2021, at the Turner & Son Funeral Home and Crematory in Hillsboro. Funeral services will follow visitation at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday August 26th at the funeral home. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family at a later date.
