ROSS COUNTY, Ohio ā€” Ross County deputies and EMS responded to a single-vehicle accident on Thursday morning.

According to authorities, the crash occurred shortly after 8 a.m. on Mount Tabor Road. Deputies on the scene said the driver of the vehicle went off the side of the road, striking a tree.

There was one person involved in the crash, officials say, who suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The road was temporarily restricted as crews worked to clear the scene.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.

The name of the individual involved and the extent of any injuries was not immediately released.
