ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Law enforcement in Ross County is looking for a 10-year-old runaway.

Officials say the boy was last seen wearing a red shirt and grey shorts near Pleasant Valley Road and route 35.

Reports indicate that the boy was traveling with Children’s Services when he jumped from the vehicle and fled on foot. 

Deputies with the Ross County Sheriff’s Office and troopers from the Ohio Highway Patrol have started an active search of the area.

UPDATE: The missing boy has been found by law enforcement. He was returned to the custody of Children’s Services.
