CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Several charges have been brought against a Chillicothe man for allegedly distributing child pornography.
Detectives in Chillicothe arrested Tommy Ellis, 18, on August 10.
The Guardian obtained court records showing Ellis faces nearly a dozen felony counts, including five counts of pandering sexually-oriented material involving a juvenile, five counts of felony child endangerment, and one count of evidence tampering.
The exact details of the allegations lodged against Ellis have not been disclosed.
A Ross County grand jury indicted Ellis in early September, records show. He is currently being housed in the Ross County Jail.
Ellis is slated to appear in court on October 18 for a pre-trial conference.
Allegations swirled earlier this week that Ellis was the person responsible for the molestation of a 6-year-old first grader at Union-Scioto. Contrary to that rumor, Ellis is not the named suspect in that case.
