PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — Firefighters responded to reports of a structure fire on Mocassin Road in Pickaway County, Saturday.
Initial reports state that a mobile home was completely engulfed by the blaze. There were no occupants in the mobile home at the time of the fire, according to witnesses. The Guardian could not independently confirm those reports at the time.
Crews from multiple townships were requested to assist in putting out the fire.
According to EMS, one individual was taken to the hospital after suffering possible smoke inhalation following the fire.
The cause of the blaze has not been determined, and the incident remains under investigation.
