ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Ross County Sheriff Deputies responded to the area of Charleston Pike on Thursday in response to reports that a man was preparing to jump off the bridge.
9-1-1 callers told dispatchers they saw a man on top of the bridge. The caller told dispatchers that they thought the man was going to jump.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to the call and discovered a man walking down the road. Deputies asked the man if he was alright and if he was trying to harm himself.
According to deputies, the man was only urinating off the bridge without any intention of harming himself.
“It was a stupid thing to do,” the man admitted. He was allowed to go following a verbal warning by deputies after checking their database for warrants.
