PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — A Chillicothe man died after being gunned down in Portsmouth, police say.

Portsmouth Police responded to the area of Eck Court on reports of a shooting, October 1.

Timothy Perkins, 20, was shot multiple times, authorities say. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Scioto County Coroner. His body, officials say, was transported to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office for an official autopsy.

The Bureau of Criminal Investigations, along with the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the murder.

Police have not announced any suspects, and there have been no arrests made in the case.
