ROSS COUNTY, Ohio –– A mother in Ross County told law enforcement that her son assaulted her because he was upset that he had no weed.
Deputies responded to the area of Toad Hollow Road in Ross County. According to reports, a mother told deputies that her son had become upset because he “had no marijuana on his date, and he was broke and couldn’t buy anymore.”
The mother said, after an argument, her son began punching her in the head, upper body, and arms. The assault, reports say, escalated when the son threatened to kill her, chasing the mother out of the residence.
Deputies attempted to make contact with the son, but he had left the scene before they arrived. The mother, authorities claim, suffered facial and arm injuries during the attack. The incident remains under investigation.
