SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio — Troopers with the Ohio Highway Patrol say they found drugs and guns during a traffic stop in Scioto County.
According to reports, troopers stopped a 2017 Chevy Impala along route 23 in Scioto County, Wednesday.
Officials say troopers spoke with the occupants of the car and noticed a strong odor of marijuana.
Upon searching the vehicle, troopers, reports say, discovered over 100 grams of methamphetamine, two handguns, a small amount of marijuana, and nearly 50 grams of heroin.
Taylor J. Dennis, 23, Dayton, was the driver of the Chevy Impala. Dennis was arrested at the scene and taken to the Scioto County jail on multiple felony charges including, drug trafficking.
