ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Authorities say they are trying to locate a person of interest following a stabbing incident in Ross County.
Around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Ross County Sheriff Deputies responded to the 2,000 Block of Rozelle Creek Road.
Initial reports say one person was stabbed during an altercation at the residence. Witnesses at the scene told police that the suspect fled in a “gray mustang.” The victim said a woman, identified as Alisha Harris, had stabbed her in the stomach.
At 9:38 p.m., a BOLO (Be On The Lookout) was issued, by deputies, for the suspect and vehicle they were last seen driving. Law Enforcement said the car came back to a registered owner in Pike County. The Ross County Sheriff’s Office contacted police in Pike County to search the area for the “gray mustang.”
EMS, according to dispatchers, was sent to the scene to transport the victim to the hospital.
The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information on the stabbing should contact the Ross County Sheriff.
