Grace Marie Dhume, age 88, of Greenfield, Ohio passed away Monday, October 25, 2021 at home.
She was born January 9, 1933, in Greenfield, Ohio, the daughter of Raymond and Chloie (Marcum) Thompson.
Grace has been an inspiration to many and always had kind words and a smile for all. She and her husband, Earl, happily lived and worked on their farm, “Sunset Acres” for over 50 years together.
She was a 1951 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Greenfield.
She is survived by her three children, Susan (Mik) Dietlin of Virginia, David Dhume of Washington C.H., Barbara (Chad) Haines of Greenfield; eleven grandchildren, Bryan Haines (Joy), Shelly Boles (Teddy Brown), Beth (Craig) Smith, Jay Buchhammer, Aaron (Kellie) Dhume, Will (Katie) Dhume, Dustin (Nancy) Dhume, Josh (Ashley) Van Dyke, Ray (Amanda) Van Dyke, Ashley (Chip) Stephenson, Megan Haines; thirty-two great grandchildren; four great great-grandchildren; one brother, Mike (Bev) Young; two sisters, Carolyn (Tom) Hamilton, June (Kenny) Sowers; special daughters, Joanne Kresiak, Tricia Shepherd; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl W. Dhume on July 30, 2012; one sister, Flora Mae Layman; one nephew, Tom Herman; one daughter-in-law, Pamela Dhume; and both parents.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 30 at First Presbyterian Church in Greenfield with Pastor Mike Anderson and Pastor Will Dhume officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. Saturday, at the church.
