ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A man threatened to shoot gas station employees in Ross County.
According to the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the South Bridge Street Marathon on Thursday in response to a menacing complaint.
Employees at the gas station told authorities that a male subject had become irate in the store and made threats against the customers and employees.
Reports state that the unidentified man said he had a gun and was “going to shoot everyone” inside.
The attendant reported that no weapon was seen on the individual when he made the threats. The man reportedly left after the incident with a female companion who was driving a maroon-colored SUV.
There were no injuries in the incident and the case, deputies say, remains under investigation. The exact circumstances leading up to the alteration were not immediately released.
