ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — An uncle and nephew have a fight, and one of them loses his nose.
It sounds farfetched, but according to the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the 400 block of Moss Hollow Road in Ross County after a call to dispatch regarding a domestic situation.
Reports say deputies arrived and spoke to a witness about the altercation. She told deputies that her husband, Randal Smith, had gotten into a fight with his uncle, Allen Baker and that he had bitten off the tip of her husband’s nose.
Deputies said they entered the residence and found an intoxicated Allen Baker laying in bed. Reports say that deputies had to separate the two men multiple times, as Baker continued trying to fight his nephew. The reports said that both men appeared to be highly intoxicated.
EMS from Jefferson Township was called to evaluate Smith, who had lost the tip of his nose during the altercation. Medics bandaged Smith’s nose and turned him over to deputies.
The two men were arrested for domestic violence and transported to the Ross County Jail. Neither individual indicated what started the fight.
