WILMINGTON, Ohio — The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Flood Watch for Pike, Scioto, Vinton, and Jackson Counties.
According to NWS, the watch goes into effect late Friday evening through Saturday night.
Meteorologists with the National Weather Service said heavy rain is likely to occur late Friday and early Saturday morning. This will continue throughout northern Kentucky, southeast Indiana, and southern Ohio. Some areas, officials say, could receive upwards of 3 inches of rain by Sunday.
