The investigation into Tracy Rose comes after claims surfaced that he was having an inappropriate sexual relationship with an office staff member. Rose was placed on leave this week.

The district’s superintendent, Dr. Tom Bailey, sent a letter home with students on Thursday.

“Washington Court House City School District has placed Mr. Rose on administrative leave pending the conclusion of an ongoing investigation,” Dr. Bailey wrote. “The situation under review does not involve students in any way. This thorough investigation is being conducted efficiently and in a manner that respects the confidentiality of employee personnel matters. Because of these confidentiality restrictions, I am unable to comment further at this time. At this time, I will serve as your interim principal and will be in the building to help facilitate learning and operations at WHS in any way.”

Rose has been employed with the district for more than two decades.
