WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio — A local school district has placed their transportation supervisor on leave amid an investigation.

Miami Trace in Fayette County told Joni Daniels-Blouse that she was not welcomed on school property as they look into allegations of misconduct. Daniels-Blouse oversees the district bus garage.

“The Miami Trace School District placed transportation support, Mrs. Joni Daniels-Blouse, on administrative leave after a complaint had been received that justified an investigation,” said district assistant superintendent Rob Enochs on Friday. “The situation under review does not involve the safety or well being of students. At this time, we are not able to share additional details while the investigation is proceeding.”

She has been with the district since 2012. In the interim, Jack Anders will act in the capacity.
