9-1-1 outage reported in Pike Co.

PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — 9-1-1 is down in Pike County.

According to Sheriff Tracy Evans, the 9-1-1 system in Pike County is not working.

The Sheriff made the announcement Tuesday afternoon.

Residents in need of emergency services should call 740-947-2111 and hit extension 1.

Sheriff Evans did not elaborate on the cause of the outage or how long it would take for the system to be back in operation.
