CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Two people are in jail today after police say they were involved in a stabbing on the east side of Chillicothe.
According to the Chillicothe Police Department, officers were dispatched to 83 South Watt Street on reports of a person being stabbed. Officers arrived on the scene and found a victim who had been stabbed multiple times in the face, head, and arm.
The victim told police that an altercation had happened at the residence. It was during that altercation that the victim was stabbed. The suspects were later identified as 28-year-old Cheyanna Davis and 25-year-old Jimmie Davis.
Police located the suspects at a home in the 500 block of East Main Street. Reports say detectives conducted a search warrant of the residence and located the knife used in the attack.
Jimmie Davis, police say, confessed to the stabbing and was charged with assault and felonious assault. Cheyanna Davis was also arrested and charged with assault.
The two are being held in the Ross County Jail pending arraignment on the charges.
