PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio— A Pickaway County burglary suspect is in custody, says Sheriff Matthew O. Hafey.
According to the Pickaway County Sheriff, John Johnson, 20, of Orient, was taken into custody after being caught entering a home on Boucher Drive.
Reports say deputies arrived on the scene following a call by a witness to the incident. Officials say the suspect fled on foot near the area of Strawser Street before eventually being captured.
The suspect was transported to the Pickaway County Jail and remains in custody pending arraignment.
