WASHINGTON, D.C. — United States Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas remains in a Washington, D.C. hospital.

The high court said Thomas was admitted on Friday with an infection and was being treated with antibiotics.

“His symptoms are abating, he is resting comfortably, and he expects to be released from the hospital in a day or two,” said a spokesperson for the high court.

Justice Clarence Thomas was appointed to the bench in 1991 by the late president, George H. W. Bush.
