PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — Five people were arrested following two drug raids in Pike County after investigations led to the discovery of separate drug trafficking operations in the county.
According to Pike County Sheriff Tracy Evans, members of the Southern Ohio Organized & Major Crimes Taskforce executed search warrants at two separate residences in the village of Piketon.
On April 1, agents in connection with local law enforcement served a search warrant at 220 E. 3rd Street and 215 Forsyth Street in Piketon. During the raids, several individuals were arrested. Authorities say methamphetamine, fentanyl, and prescription drugs were seized.
Joseph Lemaster, Sarah Trent, and Christopher Hodge were taken into custody on outstanding warrants related to the drug trafficking operation. In addition, agents arrested Joshua Goode and Billie Jo Osborne for drug trafficking and theft of a motor vehicle.
Sheriff Evans said, “This investigation is still ongoing, and will be presented to the Pike County Grand Jury at a future date for consideration of additional charges.”
