PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — Thousands of homes in the area remain without power after a violent storm on Monday.
The outages came after a line of storms on Monday barreled through the street.
In southern Ohio, about 7,000 customers are still without power. Pike County continues to have the most outages in the region with more than 2,700, with 1,350 in Ross County, followed by 850 in Jackson, 400 in Scioto, more than 400 in Gallia, 300 in Meigs and 200 in Vinton.
Emergency officials in Scioto County said all 911 lines in the county have been down since Tuesday afternoon. No timeline for restoration has been provided.
