JACKSON, Ohio— The trial begins this week in the case of a local Jackson attorney accused of sexually assaulting a minor child.
Christopher Michael Moore was indicted by a Jackson County Grand Jury in April of 2021 following an investigation into multiple alleged incidents involving Moore and the child.
Court records obtained by the Guardian say the alleged sexual assaults occurred over a period of years, from 2012 to 2015.
Moore faces 3 counts of rape and 3 counts of gross sexual imposition.
If convicted, he could spend the next several decades behind bars.
