Macie I. Stratton, age 81, of Greenfield, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
She was born May 27, 1941 in Pike County, Ohio, the daughter of Carl E. and Francis Pearl (Young) Knisley.
Macie was a loving mother, friend, employee and member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union in Greenfield.
She was a homeworker and also worked in grocery stores as well as factories. In recent years she worked as a caregiver. She had the biggest heart for people and would do anything for anyone. She loved her family and friends dearly and will be missed.
She is survived by one daughter, Tina Bell of Bainbridge; two sons, Jamie Malott of Greenfield, Bill (Sheila) Malott of Peebles; one grandson, Bill Malott, Jr.; one great grandson, Cameron Bell; three stepdaughters, Robin Pettit of Jamestown, Kathy Rhoads of Greenfield, Debbie Rawlinson of South Salem; one stepson, Jimmy Hilliard of Texas; step grandchildren, September, Ray, Michael, Michelle, Brandi, Jason, Heather, Stephanie, Josh, Tamicka, Jamie, Courtney, Tyler, Hannah, Hope, Ashley, Justin and Anna; one step grandson, Steven Hatfield; several nieces and nephews; and two special friends, Ruth Ferneau of Bainbridge and Norma Vandyke of Greenfield.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Shannon Bell; two sisters, Midge Hatfield, Lora Streber; four brothers, Clarence, Carol, Gail, and Ronald Knisley; one daughter in-law, Tonda Humphrey; special friend, John Hakes; father of her children William Malott; and both parents.
Memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, August 19 at F.O.E #1325, 1275 N Washington Street, Greenfield, Ohio with Rev. Jim Blaine officiating.
Family and friends may gather for fellowship between 12:00 P.M.-2:00 P.M.
