AKRON, Ohio — An “Amber Alert” has been issued for a 4-year-old boy out of the Akron area following a shooting that left the mother fighting for her life.
According to police, the suspect, 24-year-old Jose Castro, was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and black shorts. Castro may be driving a silver 2016 Kia Soul with license plate number HLD9706.
Officials say Castro should be considered armed and dangerous.
The child, Fabian Claudio-Castro, is described as a Hispanic male with brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a blue shirt and khaki shorts.
Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact their nearest law enforcement agency.
