SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio — Three people are in jail today after authorities say they kidnapped and tortured two individuals.

On Wednesday, Scioto County Sheriff David Thoroughman reported that his detectives received a call around 9 a.m. Tuesday morning after a man was found walking along Route 140 covered in blood.

Reports say that deputies with the sheriff’s office were dispatched to the area. The victim told law enforcement that he and another victim were tied up with zip ties at a residence on Ainsley Avenue. The victim went on to say that while in the residence several people assaulted him.

Investigators said the victim was transported to the Southern Ohio Medical Center for treatment. It was then, Sheriff Thoroughman said, detectives continued their investigation and spoke with the second victim at a Martin Road home in Wheelersburg. The second victim reported that he was held in the Ainsley Avenue home and was beaten by the suspects for several hours.

Officials say that a search warrant was obtained for the Ainsley Avenue home. During the search, detectives said, they processed the crime scene and seized several items as evidence in the case.

In a statement released by the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office, two suspects, according to the statement, showed up at the Ainsley Avenue residence and were taken into custody.

23-year-old Kaleb Dixon and 18-year-old Cameron Dixon were arrested and charged with 2 counts of kidnapping, tampering with evidence, and felonious assault.

A third suspect, detectives said, was located a short distance from the home. 25-year-old Christian Cheyenne Brooks was taken into custody following a traffic stop by law enforcement.

All three remain in custody at the Scioto County Jail. The case, the sheriff’s office said, remains under investigation.
