ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A two-vehicle crash along Route 23 caused traffic backups Thursday evening.
The call came into dispatchers around 6 p.m.
According to initial reports, a car and truck were involved in the accident along the highway just north of Crouse Chapel Road in Ross County.
Medics from Green Township along with law enforcement personnel from the Ohio Highway Patrol and Ross County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
The names of those involved and the extent of any injuries was not immediately known.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area while crews work to clear the scene
