SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio — A Michigan woman has been sentenced to more than two decades behind bars after being busted with fentanyl.
According to the Scioto County Prosecutor’s Office, Candance D. Guice, Detroit, was sentenced to 20 ½ to 26 years in prison.
On January 12, troopers with the Ohio Highway Patrol stopped a rental car along Route 823 in Minford, Ohio. Following consent to search the vehicle, troopers seized a large quantity of a mixture of fentanyl, heroin, and PCP. In total, reports say, over 500 grams were found. Law enforcement officials said the drugs had a street value of $75,000.
She was incarcerated following the bust in the Scioto County Jail.
