Cinda Ray, 72, of Bainbridge passed at 9:41 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2022, at Adena Regional Medical Center unexpectedly.
She was born October 30, 1950, in Ashland to the late George and Evelyn Tharp Boyer. She resided near Bainbridge, Ohio for the last 27 years.
On October 28, 1999, she married Robert H. Ray, who preceded her in death on August 28, 2019.
Surviving is step-children, Robert Shane (China) Ray of Beavercreek and Elise (Hamdy) Ray Mohallil of Tallahassee, FL; granddaughter, Cielle Ray; sisters, Sue Sommers, Joan Kincaid, and Sharon Stone; brother, David (Joyce) Boyer; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers-in-law, Bob Stone and Robert Kincaid; nephew, Craig Stone.
Cinda was a retired therapist from the Paint Valley Mental Health Center. She was a member of the Christian Spiritualist Temple in Columbus, Ohio.
Cinda was also a beloved artist, who produced masterful works of stained glass, which she displayed and sold locally.
She spent much of her time creating and growing things. A master gardener, she loved tending her plentiful gardens. She enjoyed living off the land, canning her own food, and chopping her own wood in the winter.
Cinda was a pillar of strength for her family. Her kind heart, silly laugh, and fiery, red hair will be missed by all who knew her.
There will be no services at this time, they will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME.
