Elaine Gilbert Mead, 79, of Kingston passed 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at her home.
She was born June 24, 1943 to Bernice Ferrell.
Surviving are sons & daughters-in-law, Scott & Jayna Mead of Chillicothe, Bryan & Susan Mead of Circleville and Alan Mead of Chillicothe; daughter and son-in-law, Susan & Jesus Frausto of Burlington, N.C.; 5 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; brother, Rex Kempton of Stuart, FL.
She was predeceased by her mother and step-father, Bernice & Walter Kempton; grandson, Cameron Mead.
Elaine was a 1961 graduate of Zane Trace High School. She retired from Walmart.
A memorial service will be held 5 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Brad Jones officiating. Friends and family may call from 3 – 5 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday.
