ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A high-speed chase in the city ended with the arrest of a woman by Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers on February 12, 2023. The pursuit started after a deputy reported a vehicle traveling in the wrong lane and nearly striking their patrol car. The driver of the vehicle was later identified as Madison George.
The chase continued into the city of Chillicothe where the vehicle eventually came to a stop at the intersection of Bridge Street and Main Street. The driver attempted to flee from the scene but was eventually taken into custody and placed in the back of an OSP cruiser.
Madison was evaluated by Chillicothe Fire Department Medics and taken to the Ross County Jail. The Ohio State Highway Patrol will be filing charges against Madison.
The incident remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
