Betty L. Wilson, age 78 of Hillsboro, passed away Monday afternoon, February 13, 2023.
She was born May 29, 1944 in Adams County, the daughter of the late Barry and Minnie (King) Ward.
Mrs. Wilson raised three sons, loved to garden, travel with her husband, and was a den mother for Cub Scouts for several years. She was a babysitter for many years as well.
She is survived by three sons, Joe (Tara) Wilson of Hillsboro, Steven Wilson of Oregon, and Danny (Margaret) Wilson of West Union; two grandchildren, Jared Wilson and Ali Wilson; three great grandchildren, Landen Wilson, Gatlin Meyer, and Raena Meyer; two sisters Marie Blankenship, and Kay James; a brother, Harley Ward; a special nephew Wayne Setty; as well as additional nephews, nieces and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paul Wilson, who passed away September 4, 2020; and many siblings.
Funeral services for Mrs. Wilson will be private at the convenience of the family.
