PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — On Friday, February 10, 2023, a joint operation between the Southern Ohio Organized and Major Crimes Task Force and the Portsmouth Police SWAT Team resulted in the recovery of large amounts of suspected methamphetamine, suspected fentanyl, drug paraphernalia, cash, and a firearm during a narcotics-related search warrant at 1311 Smokey Hollow Road in Piketon, Ohio.
The operation also led to the arrest of Peggy Lansing, a 53-year-old woman, on a charge of having a weapon under disability. Lansing was out on bond from previous drug-related offenses at the time of her arrest.
The Task Force Agents are expected to present additional evidence to the Pike County Grand Jury, which will consider additional charges against the suspect.
