WAVERLY, Ohio —– Waverly High School’s Polarity singing group is gearing up for an exciting couple of months ahead. On March 4th, they will be competing in the International Competition of High School A Cappella in Columbus, OH. This competition features top high school singing groups from around the world and Polarity is honored to be among the talented groups selected to participate.
Last year, Polarity placed an impressive 2nd in the Midwest quarterfinals of the competition and went on to take 4th place out of all the schools in the Midwest in the semifinal round. They are eager to build on this success and showcase their talents once again.
Following their upcoming competition, Polarity has been invited to host the 2023 Chicago Harmony Sweepstakes competition on March 25th. This is a prestigious event featuring the best a cappella groups from around the Chicago area. Polarity is thrilled to have been invited to host the competition after winning 1st place in the 2022 event.
