Joyce (Casebolt) Dameron, 94, of Laurelville, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2023 at Circleville Post Acute Nursing Home.

She was born November 11, 1928, in Virgie, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Harvey and Mae (Damron) Casebolt.

Joyce is survived by her children, Jennifer Dameron (Colby Joyner), Annalou Allen, Sandra Dameron, Brenda Smith, Patsy Adams, and Mike Dameron; grandchildren, Cassie Graves, Jessica O’Neal, Heather Hoover and several bonus grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Alex and Adam Johnson, Evan and Ava Graves, Jake Hoover, and Jordan O’Neal; siblings, Rosemary Mans, Inez Hott, Earl Casebolt, and Andrew Casebolt; nine nieces; two nephews; and numerous other special family members and friends whom she cherished.

Joyce was also preceded in death by her husband, James Dameron; daughter, Linda Dameron; sons, Tommy and Dwight Dameron; siblings, Clarence Casebolt, Evelyn Deckard, Ethel Hott, and Nadine Tackett; granddaughter, Alyssa Call; brothers-in-law, Lonnie Tackett, Don Deckard, and Herb Hott; sisters-in-law, Fannie Casebolt and Rita Casebolt; and niece, Tammy Miller.

Joyce retired from Adena Medical Center as the Head Cook after 16 years of service.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 24 at 11:00 a.m. at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, Kingston. Burial will follow in Green Summit Cemetery, Adelphi. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 – 7 p.m. at Hill’s.
