Francis Rae Henderson, 68, of Piketon, Ohio passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023 peacefully surrounded by family at home.
On August 1, 1954 she was born in Chillicothe, Ohio daughter of the late Alva James and Effie Hesstella (Woods) Russell.
On September 23, 1972 she was united in marriage to Marvin K. Henderson who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Marvin “Marty” Henderson and wife Tina of Piketon and Anthony “Tony” Henderson of Piketon; six grandchildren, Andee Vassar, Harley Roberts, Trevor Henderson, Kalesie Gragg, Elizabeth Breitenbach and Tyler Henderson; multiple great grandchildren and one brother, Jon “Johnny” Russell of Piketon.
In addition to her parents, Francis was preceded in death by two brothers, Charlie Coatney and Alvie “Bobby” Russell and a sister, Patty Toops.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly. Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. – the time of the service.
