Barbara Jean Jackman, 85 of Greenfield, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Adena Greenfield Medical Center.
She was born November 12, 1937, in Greenfield, Ohio, the daughter of James Hugh and Wynona Ruth (Frost) Price.
Barb was a 1956 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School and member of the Buckskin Community Church in South Salem. She retired from Johnson Controls of Greenfield after 30 plus years of employment.
She is survived by two daughters, Karen Jo Bainter (Rob Hill) of Cynthiana, April Lynn Brigner of Greenfield; grandchildren, Andrea (Cody) Igoe, Courtney (Josh) Hyer, Madison Beatty, Adam (Ali) Beatty, Amanda Bainter, Autumn Bainter, Ashley Bainter; great grandchildren, Elijah McMurry, Sederick Brigner (Shyann), Andrew McMurry, Abi Brigner, Ethan Varney, Bianca Varney, Bailey Woodrow, Lane Hyer, Ellison Hyer, Hayes Hyer, Nash Igoe, Charley Igoe, Wyatt Igoe, Adalynn Beatty, Sonny Beatty, Josie Beatty; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and special friends, Mike Bennett of Greenfield and Ronda Salyer of Greenfield.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Suzan Beatty; one grandson, Bobby Bainter; one brother, Marlin Price; one sister, Mary Ann Brewer; and both parents.
Funeral service will be 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 15 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Mark Current officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
